Refund and Returns Policy

1. Overview
We want every order to arrive in the condition you expect. This Policy explains your rights to return goods purchased from apipietech.com (the "Site"), the conditions that apply, the process to follow, and how refunds are issued. This Policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions; capitalised terms not defined here have the meaning set out in those Terms.
2. Return Window
- Standard returns: Eligible items may be returned within fourteen (14) days from the date of delivery.
- Damaged or defective items: Must be reported within forty-eight (48) hours of delivery, with photo evidence, and may be returned within thirty (30) days of delivery.
- Wrong items received: Must be reported within seven (7) days of delivery.
Return requests received after these windows will not be processed unless required by mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence.
3. Eligibility Conditions
To be eligible for return, an item must be:
- Unused, unworn, and unwashed, with all original tags attached;
- In its original packaging with all included accessories, manuals, and free gifts;
- Free from damage caused by misuse, accident, or normal wear and tear;
- Accompanied by proof of purchase (order number and receipt).
Items that do not meet these conditions may be refused or subject to a restocking deduction at our discretion.
4. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are generally not eligible for return for hygiene, safety, or other reasons:
- Customised, personalised, or made-to-order items;
- Intimate apparel, swimwear, and earrings for pierced ears, once opened or worn;
- Cosmetics, skincare, and other beauty products, once opened or used;
- Food, beverages, perishable goods, and consumables;
- Items marked as "final sale", "non-returnable", or "clearance" on the product page;
- Digital products, downloadable files, gift cards, and services already rendered;
- Hazardous materials and items restricted from international transport;
- Items damaged or rendered unfit for resale through misuse, mishandling, or improper care.
5. How to Initiate a Return
- Send an email to apipie.co@gmail.com with subject line "Return Request — Order #XXXX". Include your order number, the item(s) to return, the reason, and photographs of the item(s) including any damage or defect.
- Our customer-service team will review your request and respond within two (2) business days with an authorisation, a return shipping address, and instructions. Returns sent without prior authorisation may be refused or delayed.
- Pack the item(s) securely in the original packaging. Include a copy of the order confirmation and any provided return form.
- Ship the package to the address provided. We recommend using a tracked, insured service. Retain the tracking number.
- Upon receipt, we will inspect the item(s). We will notify you of the outcome and process the refund or replacement as applicable.
6. Return Shipping Costs
- Buyer's remorse / change of mind: Return shipping cost is the Customer's responsibility.
- Damaged, defective, or wrongly shipped items: We cover return shipping. We will either send a prepaid return label or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs upon receipt of the carrier receipt.
- Items refused at delivery (other than damaged on arrival): Return shipping and any storage fees incurred are deducted from the refund.
7. Restocking Fee
For oversized items, items returned in non-resaleable condition, or repeated returns from the same account, a restocking fee of up to fifteen percent (15%) of the item price may be deducted from the refund. We will notify you of any restocking deduction before processing.
8. Refund Processing and Timing
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
- Once we have received and inspected the returned item(s), we will initiate the refund within five (5) to seven (7) business days.
- The time for the refund to appear on your bank or card statement depends on the issuer; typical timelines are three (3) to ten (10) additional business days for cards and up to fifteen (15) days for certain international payment methods.
- Original shipping fees, customs duties, and import taxes are non-refundable except where the return is due to our error or where required by mandatory law.
9. Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged or defective, notify us within forty-eight (48) hours of delivery at apipie.co@gmail.com with clear photographs of the item, the packaging, and the shipping label. We will arrange a replacement, store credit, or refund, at your option, after verification.
10. Wrong Items Received
If you receive an item different from the one you ordered, contact us within seven (7) days of delivery. We will arrange free return shipping and dispatch the correct item, or issue a full refund if the correct item is no longer available.
11. Lost or Missing Packages
If carrier tracking shows your package as delivered but you have not received it, please first check with neighbours, household members, the front desk or doorman, and the carrier directly. If after seventy-two (72) hours the package cannot be located, contact us with the tracking number and we will open an investigation with the carrier. Once a package is officially declared lost, we will issue a replacement or refund as appropriate.
12. Exchanges
The fastest way to exchange an item for a different size, colour, or style is to return the original item for a refund and place a new order. Direct exchanges are not always possible due to stock fluctuations and shipping timelines.
13. Order Cancellation
You may request to cancel an order before it has been dispatched. Once an order is dispatched it cannot be cancelled and must be processed as a return upon delivery. To request a cancellation, contact us as quickly as possible at apipie.co@gmail.com.
14. International Returns and Customs
For international returns, the Customer is responsible for clearly marking the parcel as "RETURNED GOODS" on the customs declaration to avoid duties being charged on re-entry. Failure to do so may result in our refusing the parcel, in which case it is returned to sender at the Customer's expense.
15. Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received your refund within the timeframe stated in Section 8, first check your bank or card statement, then contact your bank or card issuer to confirm processing times. If after taking these steps you still have not received the refund, contact us at apipie.co@gmail.com with your order number.
16. Statutory Rights
Nothing in this Policy limits any statutory rights you may have as a consumer under the laws of your country of residence. Where mandatory consumer-protection law grants you rights that exceed those described above, those statutory rights prevail.
